GENIE-The flying carpet: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE. This patented air spring technology we invented fulfills the three wishes of every cyclist: the feeling and control of a coil spring, Better bottom prevention than a standard air spring and adjustable platform for a playful feel.

THE 'GENIE': GENIE combines the linear rigidity of the coil spring that improves control through the "impact zone" with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of the stroke to avoid the bottoms. Really, is the best of both worlds - coil and air - with extra adjustment options. Say goodbye to compromises and welcome the future of suspension.

WHAT IMPACT?: With 16.3% better impact force management than a conventional air spring damper, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 work like a bike with more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 (with 145 mm rear wheel travel) and our Enduro (170 mm travel) both use 101 mm travel to absorb a 1080 N impact force.

GOGO TRACTION: Extensive field tests show that Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE provides 57% better traction than a standard air spring shock absorber because GENIE technology offers flexible performance, similar to that of a coil spring, that keeps the wheel in contact with the ground for a greater percentage of the time than a typical air spring.

GOODBYE BOTTOM OUT: 39% less bottom-out events than a standard air spring. In case of large bumps, you will benefit from the progressive curve in the last 30% of the GENIE ride. Thanks to the two-step behavior, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom out events.

IMPROVED GEOMETRY: the geometry of this bike offers great ability when needed, agility in narrow sections, and efficiency on the climb. The large cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, relaxed steering angle and optimized fork offset support stability even on technical terrain.

IN YOUR OWN WAY: The Stumpjumper 15 perfectly integrates geometry adjustment, making it the most customizable trail bike ever. Six distinct geometry settings allow you to sharpen performance for any style and terrain. The steering angle and bottom bracket height can be adjusted precisely to ensure stability or light.

WHEEL SELECTION: With our aftermarket links you can choose between large wheels on both the front and rear, or you can use a 27.5" rear wheel for a more responsive and playful ride. Whatever you choose, geometry is not affected.

TAKE EVERYTHING YOU NEED: The SWAT 4.0 compartment on the Stumpjumper 15 increases the space in the oblique tube.
