SPECIALIZED Diverge E5 Elite Satin Ashen Obsidian
To escape on the trails in the countryside, away from traffic and people, but also to go all out in your favorite gravel race, the Diverge is perfect. The fastest, most capable and most fun gravel bike we’ve ever made. It is nimble and agile under stress, stable and safe if the terrain becomes challenging. It has a gravel geometry, and ample light for tires. Everything we’ve learned about road and off-road has been used to create the Diverge, which is set to write a new chapter in the gravel category.
The Diverge Elite has a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon fiber FACT fork. Everything you need to ride fast, confidently and comfortably on the road, gravel and off-road. With the Shimano GRX 400 2x10 gravel gearbox, Axis Elite alloy wheels with Specialized Pathfinder 38mm tyres, the Diverge E5 Elite is extremely capable and versatile.
The Diverge E5 Premium alloy frame is lightweight, rigid and robust. Thanks to the fully carbon fibre FACT fork, this Diverge is light, lively and versatile.
We decided to break with the classic gravel geometry. The Diverge has the most progressive geometry ever created for a road-cornering bike, so to create a capable and stable off-road bike but snappy and agile on the road. We increased the reach, introduced a more relaxed steering tube and adopted a fork with a greater offset. A shorter handlebar attachment keeps the front carriage length in check for lively driving. We have provided a low center movement to get more stability, keeping the possibility of mounting tires 650b if you prefer them.
The frame is equipped with rack mounts, including fork and horizontal tube attachments, to facilitate transport for any long haul journey.
Nothing makes a bike more versatile than light to mount wide section tires. The new Diverge has a 47mm gap if you use a 700c and 2.1" wheel with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a solid carbon insert behind the gears on the horizontal rear sheath, transmission side, we were able to create more space without increasing its length or using a low and fragile sheath.
